This policy explains what personal data the website www.futboleros.nu and the “Futboleros” Android app process, why, and for how long. In short: neither asks you to create an account, and we only collect what is technically needed to work.
1. Data controller
- Controller: futboleros.nu
- Contact: [email protected]
- Website: www.futboleros.nu
2. Data we process
- Website visits and app requests. Like any web server, ours receives the IP address and technical data of each request (date, requested address, browser or app version, language). They are used only to answer the request, limit the number of requests per minute to prevent abuse, and fix errors. They are not used to identify you and are not combined with any other data.
- Cookies. The necessary ones (chosen language and cookie choice) and, only with your consent, Google AdSense advertising cookies on the website. Details in our Cookies policy.
- Emails. If you write to us, we receive your address and message, only to reply.
- Android app. It does not ask for any personal data; what you save stays on your phone (section 8).
We do not ask for your name, location or contacts, and we do not build profiles.
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Technical request data: running and protecting the website, the API and the app (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Advertising cookies: showing ads on the website (your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
- Emails: replying to your message (your consent, by writing to us).
4. Recipients
We do not sell or hand over data. Only the website’s hosting provider and Cloudflare, the technical intermediary requests go through (protection and delivery), have access to it, to provide the service on our behalf. On the website, and only with your consent, Google processes the data of its advertising cookies (Google privacy policy). If any of these providers processes data outside the European Economic Area, it does so with the safeguards required by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework).
5. Retention
- Technical request data: as long as needed for security and fixing errors; server logs are deleted periodically. The per-minute request counter only lasts a few minutes.
- Emails: until we reply, then they are deleted.
- Cookies: the lifetime shown in the Cookies policy.
6. Your rights
You can request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, object to its processing, request its restriction or portability, and withdraw your consent at any time by writing to [email protected]. As we ask for no account or name, we may need some information (for example the email address you used) to find what concerns you. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es).
7. Children
The website and the app do not knowingly collect data from children: they ask for no personal data and have no accounts.
8. Android app
The “Futboleros” Android app (nu.futboleros.app) shows the same information as this website, which it reads from the public futboleros.nu API.
- No account or sign-up. The app does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts or any other personal data.
- Favourites and reminders: the teams, competitions and channels you follow and the reminders you set are stored only on your phone. They are never sent to any server and are removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
- Connection to futboleros.nu: to show matches, the app requests data from www.futboleros.nu, just like a browser (section 2, first point).
- No ads or analytics: this version contains no advertising or tracking tools, does not use the advertising ID and shares no data with third parties.
- Permissions: Internet access (to read the data), notifications (only for the reminders you ask for; you can refuse) and start at boot (to reschedule your reminders after a restart).
9. Changes
If we change this policy, for example if a future version of the app adds advertising or server-sent notifications, we will update it here before the change applies, with the date at the top of the page. For the rest of the site’s terms, see the Legal notice.
